Hunter's Point Golf Club
Idaho's true "British Open" style public golf course...golf the way it is supposed to be played.

Hunter's Point opened in the Spring of 2009 in Nampa, Idaho and has received rave reviews from golfers from around the Pacific Northwest.  This fun and fast "BRITISH OPEN" style layout is tucked into the rolling Idaho countryside.  The golf course is serene, secluded and
surrounded by western Idaho's spectacular vistas.

Hunter's Point Golf Club is truly a feast for your senses.

The Golf Course
Renowned course architect Gene Bates has designed a golfer’s dream: two parts charm, one part challenge. From its elevated tees, you get beautiful views of Lake Lowell, the Owyhee Mountains, and the Boise Mountain Range.  Large waste bunkers flank the landing areas; the water, delightful to look at, can be daunting to carry; and the greens roll true and fast, once you get on them.  Some call this a fast golf course, some call it challenging, most however just call it FUN!

The Wind at Your Back
Hunter’s Point has something for every player. At 7,047 yards from the tips it’s long enough to test even the biggest hitters, but with five tees on almost every hole, even the kids can keep up. Drives will land on lush bent grass fairways; light, white sand fills the traps; and we’ve petitioned Mother Nature to put the wind at every golfer’s back (we’re still waiting to hear back from her).

Practice, Practice, Practice!
Nothing lowers the handicap and wins Nassaus like practice, and the superb driving range and chipping and putting greens of Hunter’s Point’s Practice Center will provide an enviable environment to hone your swing and perfect your putting.
